It was hot as blue blazes on Danielle and Trey’s wedding day. It rained three times, but never where Danielle was. We think that means this marriage has extra luck! I started the day with Danielle at her parents home in Liberty Park. All the women in the family had their hair done there, and make up by the beautiful Jennifer of Porcelain and Pink. She does such a gorgeous job AND she’s fun to be around. I highly recommend her! Just before Danielle finished getting ready, she and her mother had a difference of opinion about how the veil should look. It made this moment of mom seeing her daughter the bride even sweeter. The wedding was at Liberty Park Baptist, with the most perfect size sanctuary. Everyone was so happy about the marriage. Danielle’s sweet cousin got so choked up singing Ave Maria that she thought she’d never get through it. I love this image of Danielle’s daughter with Trey just after the ceremony. She’s so happy! And then look at her face here! Not so happy about the kissing. And here is my favorite part. After the ceremony couples are often so eager to get to their reception that they want to rush through their portraits. Danielle and Trey really trusted me with these, and we got to take our time a little. We drove around to several places I had found in Liberty Park and I was so happy with the result. I think they will be too.The reception at The Summit Club was beautiful (even though some University of Alabama colors and details snuck into this Auburn fan’s pictures!) There was lots of dancing and hugging and celebration. It’s fun to have a couple as happy as Danielle and Trey to celebrate.
