A Senior Shoot?

Ann Marie’s mom, Sherrill and I started talking about doing her senior portraits a month or so ago.  Then came all kinds of commitments and activities for her senior year, our church, general life stuff.  And so finally this past weekend we got it together!  Sherrill was one of the sweetest people to me when we first started visiting our church 7 years ago.  I was happy to spend time with her and get to know Ann Marie a little better.  It was a gorgeous weekend I really enjoyed being out on this lovely Saturday.  It wasn’t just Ann Marie at this shoot.  She brought along her best friend, Julianne.  Julianne is also a senior and her mother is SO dear to me.  If you know me at all, you’ve heard me reference Julie Sparkman.  I was excited to get to spend a little time with her beautiful daughter.  These two were hysterical together.  Goofy and laughing and fun!And we also had Ann Marie’s sister Amy Katherine, who I taught in Sunday School several years ago.  Poor sweet girl had just returned from a band trip to Orlando this day, so she put that smile on when we needed her to, but BOY was she exhausted.  My mom is one of my best friends, so I always like to see the bond between other mothers and daughters.  Especially now that I have two of my own to love!  Sherrill didn’t get in many of the pictures, but I couldn’t resist this one of her snuggling that sleepy baby girl.  I believe the big discussion in this picture is, “How many picnics have we been on as a family?”  And then it was time to get a little more formal.  Ann Marie and Julianne changed into some dresses for a different look.  They’re so cute.  She looks like her mom here and it makes me miss her!!!Even in their Sunday dresses, these girls wanted to skip off into the distance.  Bye!  Thanks for having me!
