On Alexus and Brad’s wedding day, it felt like spring. But, don’t be fooled. This gorgeous Auburn/Opelika wedding was in the bleak of February. And it was as beautiful as you could have dreamed up.
As if planning a wedding wasn’t enough, this impressive couple was days away from graduating from medical school (yes, both of them) and beginning their residency. I think Alexus interviewed at 29 places in 27 different cities over the few months before their wedding. But, not a trace of stress or anxiety was with them on this day. Their excitement about each other and beginning their lives together was just contagious. I got to ride with them from the wedding to the reception, and I lost count of how many times they said how excited they were or how perfect everything was or how much they loved each other. CONTAGIOUS!!
From the mimosas and prep at Moore’s Mill Country Club, to Alexus’ grandfather marrying them at Brad’s family church, to the beautiful antique car and reception…If all of the details of their residencies and careers in Charlotte go as well as this day, I can just keep on smiling!
