Back in November I met with this beautiful girl that I really liked. Her wedding was in March and I wanted to be the photographer. Our personalities clicked, her plans sounded gorgeous and I just knew her bright blue eyes and rosy cheeks would make a beautiful bride. What I didn’t know is that Anna was so very in love that I would be as happy for her as I would a dear friend on her wedding day.
The day started at Salon U, with the person I would trust most with MY appearance, Mark Hyde. He did a great job giving Anna a “Classic Hollywood” look.
Anna was the most emotive bride I’ve photographed yet. She was literally bouncing up and down as they touched up her hair and zipped her dress. You can tell by these smiles that she couldn’t WAIT to marry Brad. Isn’t she beautiful? I think we could plop her into any decade and she would still be. She’s just a classic beauty, time transcendent. Meanwhile, Brad and the boys hung out by the pool table until it was time for him to see Anna.As we drove to meet Brad, Anna said, “He just takes care of me.” You could see that the rest of the night, starting at this moment. The ceremony was at First United Methodist Church downtown. The old stained glass, natural light and low balcony were just lovely. Anna is a self-proclaimed Daddy’s girl, so I loved catching these moments between them. … and Brad stretching to see that beautiful bride of his. I wish these two all the happiness in the world as they move to Missouri and hope to welcome them back to Birmingham soon!!!
