Natalie and Sam’s elegant spring wedding at The Club in Birmingham, Alabama, was a dream with a blend of timeless elegance, heartfelt moments, and joyous celebration. From their intimate terrace ceremony to the lively ballroom reception, every detail reflected their deep love and the thoughtful planning that brought their vision to life. Natalie and Sam’s journey began at Auburn University. Now they have a beautiful life together in Savannah and are so comfortable with and dependent on each other.
In fact, my favorite moments during their wedding day were when it was just the two of them. It is so obvious to anyone watching that they are each other’s person. They are so completely happy and in love, and seeing them together throughout the day was a beautiful thing to witness.
Natalie readied with her bridesmaids who were all cut from the same cloth and understood and supported Natalie perfectly. They wore chic black dresses with a high neckline that were classic, stylish, and elegant. The wedding bouquets were a beautiful mixture of white and various shades of purple flowers. Beautiful lavender and purple hues could be seen in many of the details during the day, which was perfect for this spring wedding.
Intimate Wedding Ceremony
The couple exchanged vows on The Club’s terrace, overlooking Birmingham’s skyline. The ceremony was adorned with a stunning cross at the altar that was covered in white and varied purple-hued flowers, from light lilac to deep purple, and balanced out with greenery. It was a stunning show-stopping display that also added meaning to their ceremony. Between the beautiful bouquets, flower centerpieces at the reception, and this gorgeous flower cross Stems & Styles truly outdid themselves!
Elegant Ballroom Reception
The ballroom reception at The Club was a lively affair, with guests dancing the night away to the energetic tunes of Norris Dates and the Power Surge Band. The décor featured patterned linens and floral arrangements in light purple and white, creating a Bridgerton-inspired atmosphere. I loved all the details like drink koozies featuring their adorable pup holding a purple flower, which added a unique personal touch while still tying in to the wedding theme.
A highlight of the evening was Sam’s groom cake, which was an amazing work of art! The cake was designed as a custom golf bag and clubs, set on a square of icing resembling grass with golf balls scattered around. It was a thoughtful nod to Sam’s love for golf and a testament to the creativity of Barb’s Cakes. Natalie and Sam’s wedding cake was also beautiful with elegant piping and flower details that all tied into their elegant spring wedding theme.

A dream team of vendors brought this unforgettable day to life. A special thank you to Amanda of AMR Bridal for introducing me to Natalie. Amanda and I have become friends over the years and she knew Natalie and I would be a great match. The bride, Natalie, is a precious human who cares so much about others. She also knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding day and Amanda made that come true. A planner is crucial for SO many reasons, but connecting them to the right vendors is a big one! I am forever grateful for this connection.
