The moment I walked into GM 705 for Alden and Emma Grace’s rehearsal dinner in Birmingham, AL, I was excited. The tables were gorgeous, the linens beautiful, and the flowers were stunning, which comes as no surprise since Stems & Styles‘ work is always top tier. The couple had a custom cocktail list featuring their adorable dogs, which I thought was such a sweet touch, but there were sentimental details all around. It’s these personal touches that always stand out, and truly make each celebration unique. The dim lighting and music overhead contributed to the whole vibe. It was warm and inviting inside, which was a lovely contrast to the dreary, damp weather outside.
Heartfelt Words and Sentimental Moments
It wasn’t long before everyone arrived! Excited grandparents, uncles who had traveled from overseas, grinning siblings … all so eager to get a photo with Emma Grace and Alden. I don’t know that I’ve ever captured so many smiles in such a short time. It filled my cup, that’s for sure. The food and service at GM 705 was exactly what you’d expect from the Gianmarco’s brand – impeccable and delicious. Courtney managed the event and was absolutely wonderful. They even made sure I had food, which is always appreciated, and sadly, not always thought of.

There was so much joy and excitement in the air, as expected the night before the big day. Laughs and smiles mingled with tears when the slideshow and toasts began. A tearful daddy was joined by his wife to get him through his toast; admiring sisters brought the house down with their giggly, tearful speech; and the handkerchief stitched with signatures of recently lost grandparents did me in.
This night was unforgettable in the very best way, and I would repeat this night again and again!
