A couple of weekends ago marked the one-year anniversary of Catherine and Reese’s memorable Birmingham Wedding. It is a day that continues to live on as it was filled with such beauty, intentionality, and heartfelt moments. Not to mention, Catherine and Reese were a DREAM to work with, as well as their moms, who planned a gorgeous wedding weekend. Their entire family was amazing with both sets of parents being beautiful examples of God-centered, selfless love. They clearly did their job right as both Catherine and Reese, as well as Catherine’s brothers and their wives all have the types of relationships I adore. You can tell just by being around them how genuine their love is and it was beautiful to witness.
Getting Ready
Catherine readied with her closest friends and family members, sharing so many special moments. Her strapless wedding gown from McClendon Bridals was a vision of elegance. The wedding bouquets brought a fresh and romantic mix of white and dusty pink blooms. Her bridesmaids wore gorgeous light blue dresses that added to the soft, romantic vibe of the day.
Joyful + Memorable Birmingham Wedding
I loved seeing how excited Catherine and Reese were to marry each other. They were so full of smiles, laughter, and excitement leading up to the big moment. Their long awaited moment unfolded at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, surrounded by their loved ones who have poured into their lives over the years.
After their lovely ceremony, the celebration continued at The Club, where guests were treated to a stunning venue with breathtaking views. While it did rain during the ceremony and reception, the skies cleared just in time for portraits and transportation, adding to the perfection of the day. The reception was a lively affair with the Emerald Empire Band keeping everyone on the dance floor.

The success of this unforgettable day was made possible by an incredible team of vendors. Each one brought their unique expertise and passion, contributing to a day that was as seamless as it was memorable. The planner Megan Wyatt events did a wonderful job coordinating everything and the florals by Lillie Jane were exquisite, flawlessly complementing the aesthetic of the wedding.
As I look back on Catherine and Reese’s special day, I’m filled with gratitude for having been part of such a meaningful and joyous occasion. One thing is certain, If their wedding day is any indication of their marriage, they are going to have a beautiful life together.
