I’ll spare you all the explanations about why it’s been a hundred years since I blogged and just skip straight to it. I’m BACK!!!!!! I never actually went anywhere, just the blogging did.
Back in December I got to photograph one of the most fun weddings for some of the most wonderful people. Anna Kathryn and Duncan and I got to know each other at their engagement session in early 2019 (although AK and I hit it off from the very first consult.)
Add a bridal portrait session (probably a full post on this eventually; it was gorgeous!) and the most perfect wedding and I feel like we’re close friends. I need more reasons to hang out and photograph them. Let’s go skiing? OR to the beach!!!
The beautiful day (actually it was really rainy and dreary, but it turned out so beautifully that I hardly remember that) began at Park Crest Event Facility where Hayden makes everything super duper easy. There’s nothing I like more than some emotion on a wedding day and these bridesmaids were as weepy as it gets!!!! Both families were so supportive and happy and welcoming. And then, during their first look Duncan got misty and then her father sang at the wedding and then we got the perfect rainy picture and there was dancing all night!!!! Bliss!!!!
