It’s a little shameful that I’m just now blogging Coley and Alex’s wedding. But better late than never, right? Since it’s been over a year and a half, you should know that they now have a beautiful daughter who I am begging them to let me photograph. Do better with the blogging, Hillary…
Soooooo, Coley and Alex got married on a rainy December Saturday and if I hadn’t photographed the raindrops, I might not have even remembered. They never even mentioned it, were undaunted by it and had nothing but smiles and fun. Coley walked all the way into the Birmingham Botanical Gardens with her dress hiked up and her umbrella. Did I mention that she wore her mother’s dress!?!?! One of my favorite parts was just being there while the girls all hung out and got ready. There were some nostalgic cheerleading moments and tons of laughter. The most exciting part, though, was when Big Al appeared at their Avon Theater reception!!!! I don’t even know how you make that happen, but it was amazing. The bridesmaids singing from the stage, everyone dancing the WHOLE time, the fake snow send off…. it was just all-around wonderful.
