Kellie & Brandon have such an interesting story and some really beautiful and unique details thrown into their wedding day. They were stationed together in Alaska with the Army where they got to know each other. They weren’t allowed to date, so when they returned to Alabama everything really got going. Aren’t just those two details the making of a great story?? Alaska and prohibited love!!!
Their wedding was at the extremely beautiful Tune Farm in Falkville and I just fell in love. It’s a farm! With chickens roaming about and a barn with the most beautiful light. There were fresh eggs on the kitchen table. I may have taken a LOT of detail shots. Kellie and Brandon wrote their own vows but felt like that was too personal to share with a whole room of people. So they exchanged their vows at their first look when it could be a bit more private. One other detail I hadn’t seen was the paint ceremony- we’ve all seen a sand ceremony or a unity candle. But in this, they each poured paint onto a canvas and watched as the colors blended and swirled and sometimes stayed separate. And now it can be a beautiful and meaningful piece of art in their home.
What a beautiful and fun day to be a part of!
