Several months ago, I had the honor of singing back-up in a Leonard Cohen tribute band in Atlanta.  Sometimes I could hear someone singing behind me.  And during set breaks, two of the musicians would just have the best time playing old familiar rifs or things they had been working on.  One of these, and the guy singing behind me who knew every single harmony and had a musical solution to every single problem we had was David.  He occasionally bragged about his beautiful fiancé.  So when they asked me to shoot their wedding, I was thrilled to get to know her and see his confident, calm, kindness in action.  Lauren was no surprise… the most gorgeous smile.  The kindest demeanor.  And such a calm, especially considering her wedding was the very first weekend that corona regulations required no more than 10 people attend her ceremony.  You’ll notice there was no reception (we’re all hoping for that in the fall) but you’ll also notice that no regulations or virus can keep the joy and excitement from the day of two lovebirds ready to begin their lives together.
