Sarah Jane and Drew’s intimate Birmingham wedding included a very small ceremony surrounded by their closest loved ones at a beautiful home that held deep meaning for them. Their sweet dog was included in the ceremony as well, because there was no way their pup was going to be excluded from their dreamy ceremony in the trees. Everything about this wedding was intentional and personal, and all the details and people made their day so incredibly unforgettable.
Memorable Wedding Moments
The groomsmen smoking cigars afterward were a whole a vibe. Then there was the family on the dance floor, which gave me additional smile wrinkles, because I simply cannot help but to beam at people who love each other and genuinely enjoy being together. Bottom line, this wedding was full of the deep meaning and intentional, personal details that make me love my job.
Sarah Jane and I worked together in the ballet world for many years, and Drew’s family has been close to mine for decades. Needless to say, I was honored to be there for those reasons alone. On top of that though, there were all of the little reminders throughout the day of what Sarah Jane and Drew were actually celebrating. The focus on the blessings and gifts the Heavenly Father has given them added to all the details I loved. They were there to celebrate not only their marriage, but the uniting of their families and their faith. This along with everything mentioned above just reinforced why I love what I do so much.
